Public Schools in Bidur

Bidur Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Nuwakot District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 59,227, comprising 28,449 males (48.0%) and 30,778 females (52.0%), with a literacy rate of 77.12%. Spanning 130.01 square kilometers, Bidur Municipality exhibits the population density of 456 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 13 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Bidur has 83 schools. Of these, 26 are private and 56 are public. The breakdown includes 61 pre-schools, 77 basic schools, and 39 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 13 offer +2 programs.
