Basic Schools in Ghorahi

Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City is one of the 10 municipalities in Dang District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the sub-metropolitan city has a total population of 200,530, comprising 93,806 males (46.8%) and 106,724 females (53.2%), with a literacy rate of 83.05%. Spanning 522.21 square kilometers, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City exhibits the population density of 384 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 19 wards.

Of these, 76 are private, 95 are public, and 1 are community. The breakdown includes 137 pre-schools, 167 basic schools, and 75 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 29 offer +2 programs.
