Nepal Eye Program (NEP), Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO) is currently looking for qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following positions:
1. Medical Director: NEP/TIO affiliated Ram Lal Golchha Eye Hospital Foundation (RLGEHF), Biratnagar
- Required Number: 1
- Qualifications:
- MD/MS in Ophthalmology (Vitreoretina fellowship preferred)
- Strong commitment to eye care services and establishing sustainable models
- Proven track record in eye hospital management
- Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Lead strategic management and clinical operations
- Develop and implement a sustainable eyecare service model
- Meet targets set by the Management Committee
- Strong commitment and proven management track record
2. Senior Ophthalmologist, Level: 9- Time-bound (TIO and its Community Eye Hospitals)
- Required Number: 3
- Qualifications:
- MD/MS equivalent with five years’ experience after MBBS from a recognized institution
- Preference for candidates with Anterior Segment fellowship
Registration with Nepal Medical Council and sub-speciality registration is mandatory
3. Vitreo Retina Fellowship (1.5 Year)
- Required Number: Few
Qualification: MD/MS in Ophthalmology or Equivalent
4. Anterior Segment Fellowship (1 Year)
- Required Number: Few
- Qualification: MD/MS in Ophthalmology or Equivalent
- Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Willingness to work in TIO’s Network Hospitals after completion of fellowship
