Based on the approval of the Public Service Commission (PSC) dated 2082/06/09 and the decision of the Recruitment Committee dated 2082/08/25, applications are invited from interested Nepali citizens who have passed the examination conducted by the PSC and possess the qualifications listed below, to fill the vacant permanent posts of the Council through open competitive examination.
Applications must be submitted within 21 days (with double fee, an additional 7 days) from the date this notice is published.

Special Notice Regarding Advertisement
In accordance with the order of the Supreme Court issued on 2079/10/24 in the ordinances of Adjusted Affiliation and the writs including 078-WO-0660, posts will be filled in the inclusive groups according to the legal provisions for inclusion, once such arrangements are made.
Required Documents, Procedures, and Rules
- Type of Examination: Written, Interview, and other methods specified in the syllabus.
- Syllabus: The syllabus for the advertised post can be obtained from the Council's Website: www.nec.gov.np under More/Notices/vacancy syllabus.
- Examination Center: Will be within the Kathmandu Valley. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC). The schedule for the written examination will be determined by the PSC.
- Application Submission Method: For those wishing to submit an online application, it is noted that the Payment process must be executed using the specified Payment Mode in the Payment Tab.
- Application Fee: Rs. 600/-.
- Important Note on Deadline: As there is a provision for submitting the application through the online system, the application, along with the prescribed fee, must be submitted on the last day even if it falls on a public holiday.
- Refund: The application fee will not be refunded, except in the event the advertisement is cancelled.
- Last Date for Application Submission: Within 2082/09/17 and with double fee by 2082/09/24.
- Age Limit for Candidates: Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 35 years (for women and disabled candidates, not exceeded 40 years). The age limit shall not apply to permanent employees.
- Service and Other Facilities: Will be as per the Council's Staff Service, Terms and Facilities Regulations, 2078.
- Place of Work: The Council's Office, Kathmandu.
- Prior Term of Service: Will not be counted for the Council's service group, but is considered for determining qualification.
- Probation Period: As per the Council's Staff Service, Terms and Facilities Regulations.
- Truth Declaration: If the details provided in the application form are found to be false, action will be taken according to law. This will be enforced at all stages of the examination.
- Rejection of Application: Applications failing to meet the minimum educational qualification, not submitted within the specified deadline, or not complying with the mandatory procedures will be rejected.
- All Details Regarding Application: Shall be understood in accordance with the relevant Acts and Regulations.
- Recruitment Committee's Right to Cancel: The Council's Recruitment Committee reserves the right to cancel applications that lack the Intermediate/Higher Secondary level proficiency specified in the notice, do not meet the minimum educational qualification, are not explicit on other specified matters, or are not submitted with the required formality.
- Unspecified Matters: Matters not mentioned in this notice shall be governed by the Council's Staff Service, Terms and Facilities Regulations, and other prevailing laws.

- A recent passport-sized photograph.
- Citizenship certificate.
- Government institution letter clarifying involvement in the inclusive group for inclusive reservation.
- Training, experience, character certificates.
- Registration certificate with the Nepal Engineering Council for Engineer posts.
- Other documents specified for the respective advertisement.
- Correction of Errors: If the application, once approved with errors, requires correction, a petition may be submitted to the Council's office within two weeks for correction.
