- Required Minimum Qualifications: As per the provisions of Section 17 of the Water Supply Management Board Act, 2063, and Rule 20 of the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board Regulations, 2082.
- Tenure: As per the provisions of Section 17 (2) of the Water Supply Management Board Act, 2063, the tenure of the Executive Director will be five (5) years, and they can be removed from the post before the completion of their tenure as per Section 17 (3) of the same Act.
- Remuneration and Facilities: The monthly salary of the Executive Director will be as per Rule 21 (1) of the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board Regulations, 2082, and other facilities and service conditions will be as per Rule 21 (4) of the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board Regulations, 2082.
- Main Duties, Responsibilities, and Rights: The duties, responsibilities, and rights of the Executive Director will be as mentioned in Section 18 of the Water Supply Management Board Act, 2063, and Rule 22 of the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board Regulations, 2082.
- Basis of Selection: The selection will be based on the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board's Executive Director Appointment Procedure, 2082.
