The University Grants Commission (UGC) has officially opened applications for its internship program to support the Nurturing Excellence in Higher Education Program (NEHEP). This initiative, backed by the World Bank, aims to drive structural improvements and quality enhancement across Nepal’s higher education sector.
Available Internship Position
The Commission is seeking aspiring professionals for two full-time interns at its Sano Thimi headquarters:
- Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA)
- Program Management

Eligibility and Requirements
The program is specifically designed for high-achieving students and recent graduates. Applicants must be currently enrolled in their 4th semester of a Master’s degree or have recently completed a Master’s level program in Social Science, Education, Economics, Business Administration, or Public Administration.
