Surya Prakash Secondary School
Surya Prakash Secondary School is a community-based school located in Panchapuri, 44 km west of Birendranagar, Surkhet, in Karnali Province, Nepal. The school was founded in 1943 AD (2000 BS) and has a long history of providing education to the local community.
The school owes much of its growth to the efforts of local social workers like Mr. Yagya Bahadur BC, Lalu Shahi, Amar Bahadur Ramjali, Lilaram Chapain, along with the school's first principal, Khadga Bahadur Chand, and other staff members.
Surya Prakash Secondary School was officially registered as a secondary school in 1984 AD (2041 BS). It received formal registration from the Ministry of Education in 2052 BS, allowing students to take the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams.
Today, the school provides quality education from Nursery to Grade 10. It continues to focus on academic excellence and personal development to help shape the future of its students
