Pragati Secondary School, established under the Pragati Education Foundation, is a well-known co-educational private institution located in Batulechour-16, Pokhara. Founded in 2047 B.S. (1999 A.D.) by passionate local academics, Pragati was created in response to the growing demand for an English Medium school in the area, aiming to provide quality education closer to home. At the time, the founders were driven by the vision of curbing the exodus of local students who were seeking better education in the city center.

Pragati offers comprehensive educational programs from Play Group to Grade 12. The school is affiliated with the National Examination Board and provides a +2 program in Management, with specialized streams in Computer Science and Business Studies in Grade XI. Over the years, Pragati has grown from a local initiative to an esteemed academic institution, attracting students not only from the surrounding areas but also from other parts of the Pokhara Valley.
