Kupkanya Secondary School was badly affected by the 2015 Earthquake in Nepal, leaving huge cracks between the walls of the buildings and also demolishing some parts of it. As a result, the school underwent major reconstruction efforts with the support of Tata Trusts and Sipradian Sahayata Sanstha.
The rebuilding process focused on creating a modern, earthquake-resistant structure, ensuring the safety of students and staff in the event of future earthquakes. The new building also includes facilities such as Wide Doorways and Accessible Restrooms for students with physical disabilities.
