Jiri Secondary School

Jiri Higher Secondary school is located in Jiri, Dolakha occupying the area of 321 ropani (about 163000 sq. meter). This school offers education from grade 1 up toll. It has been offering 10+2 programme in science, management, humanity and education streams. Jiri Secondary School is renowned as a leading educational institution in Dolakha District. This is the first school to launch 10+2 science in Dolakha district.

Jiri Higher secondary school is a leading educational institution in Dolakha district. Its history began from 1960 A.D.  In 1960 A.D. the school was introduced as a primary school and thereafter in 1966 middle school was introduced, secondary level was introduced in 1967 A.D. and higher secondary level was introduced in 1994 A.D. respectively. This school celebrated its Golden jubilee in 2011 A.D. in the hospitality of Dr. Rambaran Yadav, the first president of Nepal republic.

Jiri is also the ending point of La mosanghu- Jiri Highway. Jiri Secondary School lies on the belt of Lamosanghudiri Highway. The school is located in Manedanda Bazar, ward No. 9, covering about 321 companies (about 163000 sq. meters) area. The altitude of this place is about 1950 meter from surface of sea level.
