For admission to classes 7 to 12, a fee set by the School Management Committee applies. Students have the option to pay this amount within one year.

Eligibility for the Diploma in Agriculture (Animal Science) program

  • Students who have passed the SEE and completed 18 months of veterinary training are requested to contact the school.

About Us

Shree Jana Jukta Shahi Secondary School is in Sange, Nepaltar, Ward No. 5 of Vyas Municipality, Tanahun District, Gandaki Province. It is about 8 kilometers northwest of Damuali Bazaar, where the Vyas Municipality office is located. The school is located in Nepaltar near the meeting point of Sange Khola and Payer Khola in the middle of the Sindhu Valley.

The school was established with the support of Jukta Raj Shahi, a social worker who valued education. He donated 4 ropani, 2 aana, 3 daam, 3 paisa of land and NPR 15,000 in cash to open a lower secondary school. After this, permission to run the school was given on Poush 5. Classes began on Poush 27, 2032 BS, and the school was named Shree Jukta Shahi Lower Secondary School, serving students through class 4. In 2034 BS, the school's name was changed to Shree Jana Jukta Shahi Secondary School.

Over the years, the school grew step by step. On 2039/09/07, it received permission to run classes for Grades 1 to 3, and later classes were expanded to Grade 7. On 2042/11/06, the school received approval to start Grade 8 at the secondary level. On 2051/09/14, it received permanent approval at the secondary level, a significant achievement.

The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee on 2056/09/27, marking 25 years of service. It continued to grow, and on 2068/04/16, it received permission to start Grade 11 under the (+2) system. On 2075/04/28, the school received CTEVT affiliation to offer a diploma program in Veterinary Studies, adding technical education to its curriculum. On 2081/09/27, the school proudly celebrated its Golden Jubilee, completing 50 years of serving students and the community.

Currently, Shree Jana Jukta Shahi Secondary School offers classes from Nursery through Grade 12. The school is affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) and provides Ten Plus Two (10+2) programs in Management and Education. The school also offers a Diploma in Veterinary Science (Agriculture) under CTEVT affiliation, providing students with technical and vocational education opportunities.
