Ratuwamai Municipality is one of the 17 municipalities in Morang District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 61,139, comprising 28,999 males (47.4%) and 32,140 females (52.6%), with a literacy rate of 75.24%. Spanning 142.15 square kilometers, Ratuwamai Municipality exhibits the population density of 430 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.
