Mahalaxmi Municipality is one of the 6 municipalities in Lalitpur District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 123,116, comprising 62,399 males (50.7%) and 60,717 females (49.3%), with a literacy rate of 79.97%.
