Gauri Shankar Secondary School Ramechhap

Established on February 27, 1964 (Falgun 15, 2020 BS), Shree Gaurishankar Secondary School holds a prestigious place in the history of Ramechhap.

 It was founded in Ramechhap Bazaar, under the visionary leadership of the late Zonal Commissioner,Tshering Tenzing Lama,  recognising the urgent need for secondary education in the regional hub. Commissioner Lama inaugurated the school under a pipal tree before constructing the original long-form buildings that allowed classes from Grade 1 to 10 to operate simultaneously.

At present, it offers quality education from ECD to Grade 12.
