Charak Institute of Health Science

Charak Institute of Health Science (CIHS), located in Pokhara Metropolitan City-11, Kaski, was established in 2061 B.S., evolving from Pokhara Technical Health Multipurpose Institute and Western Health Science Academy. Founded by a group of visionary professionals, the institute aims to be a center of excellence in health science education in Nepal.

Accredited by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and recognized by the Nepal Health Professional Council, Nepal Pharmacy Council, and Nepal Nursing Council, CIHS is committed to delivering quality education and developing skilled health professionals. The institute is ISO 9001:2015 certified and offers PCL in Nursing, PCL in General Medicine (Health Assistant), Diploma in Pharmacy, and Caregiver Training.

With a strong focus on academic excellence, professional readiness, and social responsibility, CIHS also provides scholarships to deserving students and implements CTEVT-referred scholarships.
