Admission Guidelines

Eligibility Criteria

Grade XI – General Streams (Science, Management, Education, Humanities)
Students must have passed the SEE (or an equivalent examination) with a minimum GPA of 1.6.

Grade XI – Technical Stream (Computer Engineering)

  • Academic Background: Applicants must have successfully completed the TSLC (Technical School Leaving Certificate) or T-SEE (Technical Secondary Education Examination).
  • Specialization: The previous course of study must have been in Computer Engineering.
  • Institutional Requirement: Candidates must have completed their previous technical schooling at a recognized government school.

All prospective students are required to sit for an objective-pattern entrance test, and admission is granted strictly based on the merit list derived from this test.

  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Photocopies of the Grade Sheet and Character/Transfer Certificates from the previous school (not required for ECD/PPC).

About Us

Shree Chandra Model Secondary School, established in 2013 B.S., is a model community school located at the heart of Bode Barsain Municipality, Ward No. 5, Barsain Bazar, easily accessible from all parts of the municipality. The school was founded on 161 Bighas of land generously donated by the late Shatrughna Prasad Singh and named in memory of his late mother, Chandra Wati. It provides value-based education up to Class XII and began offering the 11/12 program in 2055 B.S., currently offering two streams: General and Technical. The General stream includes programs in Management, Education, Humanities, and Science, while the Technical stream offers a program in Computer Engineering.

Committed to providing quality education, the school focuses on students’ academic growth and preparing them for higher education. Recently, English-medium instruction has been introduced for classes 1 to 5, making learning more accessible. The school’s vision is to foster a culture of education in science, management, and education studies while preparing skilled manpower for institutions, factories, banks, NGOs, INGOs, and other demand-driven sectors.
