The government of Nepal allocates 2430 seats for candidates who want to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) in Nepal. In 2025, the government allocated 711 scholarship seats for students who wish to study a BSc in Nursing in Nepal.
Available scholarship seats are divided into general scholarships ( 394 seats) and reserved scholarships (317 seats). In both categories, candidates are selected purely on the basis of merit within this cluster.
Nursing Colleges affiliated with four Universities (KU, TU, Purbanchal University, and Pokhara University) and seven health science academies (PAHS, KAHS, BPKIHS, MBAHS, MIHS, NAMS, Pokhara Academy, and Rapti Academy) offer BSc Nursing programs in Nepal.
