The Medical Education Commission (MEC), Examination Directorate, has invited online applications from eligible Nepali students for MBBS scholarships provided by the Chinese Government for the academic session 2026/27. The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has allocated three seats for the MBBS program under this scholarship scheme.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be listed on the merit list of the latest Integrated Entrance Examination (MECEE-BL 2026).
- The applicant must not have taken a Foreign Study Permit (No Objection Letter), must not have been nominated for any other foreign scholarship, and must not currently be admitted to any academic program.
- The applicant must be under 25 years of age by January 25, 2026.
- Candidates must have obtained HSK Level 3. If not held at the time of application, it must be obtained compulsorily after university admission.
- Candidates must provide IELTS or TOEFL scores as prescribed by the respective university.
How to Apply
Candidates who have qualified in the Integrated Entrance Examination (MECEE-BL 2026) and meet the eligibility criteria must follow these steps to submit their applications:
- Visit the official MEC web portal at https://entrance.mec.gov.np and log in to your candidate profile.
- Navigate to the Application menu and click on 'View Details' under the MECEE-BL 2026 section.
- Locate the MBBS academic program in the list. In the Action Column, find 'China Scholarship (2025/26)' and click the Apply button to submit the form.
