Sanima Bank invites recent SEE graduates to apply for a scholarship program that the bank has founded. The bank offers scholarships to two students from each sector, and the bank has a branch outside of Kathmandu Valley as part of its scholarship program. The program allows the scholarship bearer to enroll at the institute of their choice and also choose their faculty.
The scheme is allocated as per the bank's decision, of which NRs. 2,000 is provided to the student for study materials.
The scholarship is exclusively granted to students belonging to poor and needy families.

Applicant Qualifications
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of a district where a Sanima Bank branch is located.
- The applicant must submit a recommendation letter from their local ward office certifying that they belong to an economically disadvantaged, marginalized, or differently-abled group, or provide an identification card as applicable.
- The applicant must have studied continuously for the past three years in a government/community school within the same district and must have passed the SEE in the first attempt with a minimum grade of “B”.
- The applicant must pursue available subjects/streams in government or community secondary-level educational institutions within the same district. The institution and stream must be chosen by the applicant.
- The scholarship will only be provided once the chosen educational institution admits the applicant.
- The applicant must study as a regular student.
- The final selection of candidates from economically disadvantaged, marginalized, or differently-abled groups will be carried out by a Scholarship Selection Committee formed by the Bank. The selection process will be impartial. The Committee may conduct background checks on the applicant or their family members and may also hold interviews. Applicants must not be close relatives of the Bank’s directors, management committee members, or employees.
- The scholarship will be effective from the date of admission in the educational institution.
- The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship at present.

- One passport-sized photo
- SEE mark sheet and character certificate
- Document certifying three years of continuous study in a government/community school within the district
- Copy of father’s or mother’s citizenship certificate
