Central Department of Chemistry, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur has opened an application for the 'Professor Dr. Chhabi Lal Gajurel Chemistry Award' . Professor Dr. Chhabi Lal Gajurel Chemistry award is conferred on the establishment day of the Central Department of Chemistry, Tribhuvan University.
Key Dates:
Application Deadline: end of Ashoj i.e 31st Ashoj, 2082 (October 17, 2025).
Application to be submitted at : Administration block, Central Department of Chemistry, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur
Award Selection Criteria:
1) Only research articles in the field of Chemistry published by a Nepali citizen in a Nature Index or SJR Q1 ranked Journal will be selected. The research paper must have been published or made available online from 1st Kartik, 2081 to 31st Ashoj, 2082.
2) The applicant must be the main author (First Author). If there are two or more First Authors, only the author whose name is listed in the first position will be eligible to apply.
3) The main part of the research work must have been completed in Nepal. A research paper where the Nepali researcher is the First Author and a foreign researcher is the Corresponding Author will not be included in the competition.
4) The award can also be given to an individual who has made a significant lifelong contribution to the field of Chemistry.
