The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has published a notice regarding applications for the construction of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) materials through university-level competition among students studying at universities, their constituent or affiliated campuses, colleges, or institutions, as per the approved annual program for the fiscal year 2082/083.
The subject of this year's competition is mentioned in the T.O.R. (Terms of Reference) detailed in Schedule 1 of the working procedure.
Application Process
- Under this program, in the first phase, applications will be requested from students or student groups studying at the higher education level in universities, their affiliated or constituent campuses, colleges, or institutions.
- Based on the applications received, groups will be shortlisted for the second phase and given five (5) months to construct a prototype material based on their concept.
- The student or student groups selected for the second phase will be provided with a maximum cooperation amount of One Lakh Fifty Thousand Nepali Rupees (NPR 1,50,000) per material, in accordance with the "Working Procedure for the Implementation of University-Level Competitive Program on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM), 2082."

- Applications must be submitted to innovation@moest.gov.np
- Applications must be submitted by verifying and attaching all necessary documents in the format prescribed in Clause (a) and (b) of Schedule 2 of the working procedure.
- Applications submitted after the deadline or those with incomplete procedures will not be included in the selection process.
