United Robotics Fest 4.0 Concludes Successfully at United Academy

United Academy successfully hosted Robo Fest 4.0 on Falgun 15, 2082 (February 27, 2026), a platform designed to foster innovation, creativity, and technological curiosity among school students. The event featured robotics workshops, project exhibitions, and thrilling competitions, including Robo Soccer and Robo Sumo Wrestling.

Robo Fest 4.0 officially commenced at 10:00 AM with a grand inauguration ceremony led by Dr. Kabiraj Bantawa and Mr. Narahang Rai, who jointly cut the ribbon to mark the beginning of the event.

Exhibition Highlights

Following the inauguration, the guests visited the Grade 11 student exhibition stalls, where students showcased innovative projects such as a Tilt Sensor Demonstration and a Smart Greenhouse System. The Board members observed each project, appreciating the students’ efforts while providing constructive feedback on improving functionality, practical application, and presentation techniques.

In addition to student stalls, several institutions, including PCPS, Hub International, and Clamphook, participated with their own stalls, contributing to the collaborative and vibrant atmosphere of the fest.

Competitions

After exploring the exhibition area, Dr. Bantawa and Mr. Rai proceeded to the futsal arena for the Robo Sumo and Robo Soccer competitions. Both guests actively observed and engaged with the events, showing keen interest in the students’ technical skills and competitive spirit.

A special highlight was the demonstration of a Humanoid Robot presented by Foton Motors, which captivated students, teachers, and guests alike.

Robo Soccer Competition Results

  • First Prize – Shreeyansh Jung KC (United Universal School) – Rs. 32,000
  • Second Prize – Tal Rokaya (Pragya Kunja School) – Rs. 21,000
  • Third Prize – Kiran Khatri (United School) – Rs. 10,500

Robo Sumo Competition Results

Winners:

  • Winner – Santosh Ghimire – Rs. 16,000 (awarded by Deputy Director Ms. Dipa Chamling and Ms. Manaswi Bantawa)
  • Second Place – Tal Rokaya – Rs. 10,500
  • Third Place – Kiran Khatri (United School) – Rs. 5,500

With engaging competitions, innovative exhibitions, institutional participation, and enthusiastic involvement from students and guests, Robo Fest 4.0 concluded on a high note. The event marked another successful milestone in promoting innovation, creativity, and technological excellence among young learners.
