Swostishree Gurkul IB World School, situated in Sanobharyang, Nagarjun, Kathmandu, hosted a special guest session on 'Entrepreneurship at the School Level' on Ashar 3, 2082. This session brought together academic leaders, educationists, and students to discuss the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets from an early age.
The keynote speaker of the event, Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, emphasized the need to develop and implement entrepreneurship-focused curricula at the school level. He shared that schools should develop and implement a specialized curriculum to teach entrepreneurship. Expressing his happiness, he also highlighted that this might be the first time such an event on entrepreneurship has happened at the school level in Nepal. He congratulated the school for conducting such an impactful program.

The program also featured a lively panel discussion on 'Young Entrepreneurs: From Vision to Venture.' Mr. Antoine Cornudet (Tony), Head of School Division at The Power School, Madrid, Spain, was a key guest and panelist. He stressed the importance of introducing entrepreneurship ideas to young people early on. He advised schools to help students learn to face challenges and encouraged students to explore their interests through research and prepare for their future careers.

Ms. Neha KC, Principal of Swostishree Gurukul IB World School, shared her belief that children should be involved in various entrepreneurship activities right from school. She also mentioned that Swostishree Gurukul has been actively engaging its students in national and international platforms to help them face challenges.

Mr. Pavitra Gautam, CEO of Karkhana, encouraged students to be curious, brave, and ready to tackle challenges from a young age. Ms. Juna Mathema, President of the Startup & Innovation Forum, FNCCI, moderated the panel, sharing her own journey of starting an entrepreneurial path at just 24 and the success that followed.

A highlight of the event was when three groups of students from Swostishree Gurukul I.B. World School presented their unique startup ideas. The Executive Director of the Industrial Business Development Institute, a special guest, praised the school's initiative. He also promised that the institute would support good startup ideas coming from school children.

The program concluded with Ms. Meena Maharjan, the school's Executive Director, giving appreciation tokens to the chief guest and other guests. The entire event was smoothly hosted by Class 12 student Adhish Binod Pokhrel and Class 9 student Sufi Budhathoki. Students from Class 8 to 12, along with their parents and all school teachers and staff, actively participated in the program.
