Samriddhi School Makes International Debut at Gold Coast Futsal Tournament

Samriddhi School in Kathmandu is preparing for its international debut as the U-15 futsal team departed for Gold Coast, Australia, on Saturday. The team is set to compete in the prestigious Gold Coast International Futsal Tournament, which will run from January 19 to 24, 2026.

This marks a significant milestone for Samriddhi School, with their U-15 squad eager to showcase their talent on an international stage. The team features a promising lineup of players, including Aarav Prajapati, Samyak Siddhi Tuladhar, Parivesh Acharya, Raman Acharya, Pradesh Tamang, Mingmar Akash Gurung, and Saman Maharjan.

Accompanying the team are officials Dil Bahadur Budhathoki, Bikash Shahi, and Suman Timalsina, with Dinesh Maharjan serving as the team manager. Official Bikash Shahi has already arrived in Australia, ensuring all preparations are in place for the team's participation.

The Gold Coast International Futsal Tournament offers these young athletes from Samriddhi School an invaluable opportunity to gain international exposure, experience competitive play, and further develop their skills in the sport.

Another Nepali team, Angels Heart National School, will also be participating in the tournament.
