Degrees Offered in Nepal

Premier International IB Continuum School has marked a historic achievement at the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) 2025 Global Round in Bangkok, where its delegation of ten students earned 19 Gold and 39 Silver medals, securing a place at December’s Tournament of Champions at Yale University. Guiding the team to extraordinary success, Shruti Shrestha became the first Nepali scholar to be inducted into the WSC Hall of Fame and was named the Overall Champion Scholar in the Senior Division.

Shrestha's unparalleled journey began with the JAC Khor Award at the Kathmandu Regional Round, foreshadowing her global dominance. In Bangkok, she replicated this elite achievement at the international level, securing the award alongside Hall of Fame induction and the Global Champion title, all powered by a staggering haul of 11 Gold and 4 Silver medals.

Shrestha was joined by nine outstanding Premierians who bagged the awards as:

Garima Ranjit (G12) – 1 Gold, 7 Silver
Sanvee Upadhyay (G10) – 1 Gold, 4 Silver; served as Nepal’s flagbearer during the opening ceremony
Sanskrity Adhikary (G9) – 1 Gold, 3 Silver
Bianca Pal (G10) – 1 Gold, 4 Silver
Rachel Sapkota (G9) – 3 Silver
Sanaatan Neupane (G7) – 2 Silver
Aarush Acharya (G8) – 2 Silver
Mantra Pokharel (G10) – 2 Gold, 6 Silver
Suprina Ami Adhikari (G10) – 1 Gold, 4 Silver

Against a fiercely competitive field of over 5,200 scholars from 30 countries, Premier's achievement gained added significance when Sanvee Upadhyay (Grade 10) was honored as Nepal's flagbearer during the opening ceremony—a testament to the team's embodiment of academic excellence and national pride on the global stage. The World Scholar's Cup exemplifies Premier's commitment to education beyond textbooks, challenging students through interdisciplinary debates on global issues, collaborative problem-solving with international peers, creative writing marathons, and knowledge bowls that test real-world application of concepts. Such platforms are essential to Premier's educational philosophy, where learning transcends classroom walls to develop adaptive intelligence, ethical leadership, and global citizenship – skills that conventional academic environments cannot fully impart.

The Bangkok triumph was preceded by Premier's exceptional results at the Kathmandu Regional Round, where students secured a staggering 535 Gold medals, 511 Silver medals, and 32 Gold medals with Trophies across competitive categories, including Team Bowl, Writing Champion, Subject Challenge, Asimov Award, Team Debate, and Champion Scholars. This dominant performance at the regional level propelled Premier's scholars to the global stage and foreshadowed their international success.

The delegation now advances to the Tournament of Champions at Yale University (December 8-14, 2025), where they'll join the world's top scholars for Oxford-style debates in historic halls, collaborative writing sessions, and cultural exchanges celebrating intellectual diversity. As Nepal's only IB Continuum School, Premier reinforces its vision through these achievements: transforming theoretical knowledge into actionable global citizenship while proving Nepali scholars can lead on the world's most prestigious academic platforms.
