Premier International IB Continuum School brought learning beyond the classroom to life through a vibrant series of student-led initiatives that celebrated creativity, leadership, entrepreneurship, sportsmanship, and service. Held across the school campus on December 20, these events reflected the school's commitment to holistic education rooted in the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy, where students engage in hands-on learning, creativity, and meaningful contributions to their community.
The campus first came alive with creativity and expression during the PYP & MYP Visual Arts Exhibition titled “Expressions – 2025,” showcasing artworks created by students from Early Years to MYP 4. Through paintings, sculptures, installations, and mixed media, students visually expressed ideas explored in their Units of Inquiry and subject learning. From early explorations of daily life skills to robust artistic responses to social issues and UN Sustainable Development Goals, the exhibition highlighted how conceptual learning translates into meaningful creative expression. The presence of guest artists Mr. Koshal Hamal and Ms. Shivangini Rana, along with visiting schools, further enriched the experience, reinforcing confidence, creativity, and student voice.
This spirit of learning in action continued through the PYP Bazaar, where students demonstrated entrepreneurship, responsibility, and leadership. Younger learners applied concepts such as sustainability and imagination by creating products from recycled materials. At the same time, older PYP students explored real-world market concepts, such as pricing, marketing, profit, and loss. PYP 3 students took charge of planning and managing the event, working in teams to ensure smooth coordination. Students from MYP, DP, and NEB also contributed by setting up stalls to raise funds for social causes, reinforcing empathy and responsible action.
In addition to creativity and enterprise, Premier emphasized physical well-being and teamwork through its Annual Sports Gala 2082. Students from Preschool to Grade 12 participated in age-appropriate sporting activities designed to promote fitness, discipline, collaboration, and true sportsmanship. From playful relay races in Early Years to athletics and team sports for senior students, the Gala celebrated perseverance, teamwork, and mutual respect. Performances such as Taekwondo demonstrations and musical presentations added energy and excitement, making the event a joyful celebration of holistic development.
The school’s commitment to service and social responsibility was further reflected in a Blood Donation Drive organized in collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society, as well as in multiple student-led fundraising initiatives across programs. Parents, staff, and well-wishers came together to support this life-saving humanitarian cause, while students actively contributed through purpose-driven action. IBDP students raised funds as part of their Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) journey, MYP students supported their Service as Action projects, and NEB students funded their Management Fair projects. Together, these efforts demonstrated how learning at Premier extends beyond awareness to meaningful actions that benefit the wider community.
By combining community service, student entrepreneurship, creative expression, and physical well-being within a single day, Premier International IB Continuum School showcased the true essence of holistic, values-driven education. Each initiative, from art and enterprise to sports and service, reflected the IB philosophy of developing caring, responsible, and reflective learners who understand their role in the world. Through these integrated experiences, Premier continues to empower students across all programs to take ownership of their learning, act with purpose, and contribute positively to society, reinforcing the belief that education is most potent when it inspires both action and impact.
