Premier International IB Continuum School successfully hosted its much-anticipated 3rd National College Fair at its premises, drawing an impressive turnout of students, parents, and educators from across the valley. The event served as a vibrant platform to spotlight the abundance of quality higher education options available within the country, directly addressing the growing trend of students seeking education abroad.

With a vision to curb brain drain and promote "Study in Nepal," the fair aimed to empower students and their families with comprehensive, firsthand information about academic opportunities on home soil.

The event attracted a diverse range of institutions, including prestigious colleges affiliated with Tribhuvan University and international universities operating in Nepal. These institutions showcased programs in Management, Science, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Information Technology. Students and parents engaged in direct dialogue with college representatives, gaining clarity on admission processes, eligibility criteria, scholarship opportunities, and future career prospects.

Voices from the Fair: Inspiring the Next Generation

A key highlight of the fair was an insightful panel discussion featuring distinguished academicians and industry leaders. The speakers passionately advocated for the quality and potential of Nepal's education sector.

  • Prof. Dr. Robin Joshi of KIST Medical College encouraged students to be confident in Nepal's educational progress, particularly in health sciences. "Students must be aware of educational policies from an early stage. Nepal has made remarkable strides in medical education, and it is time we believe in our own institutions," he stated.
  • Kishor Gautam, Director of Himalaya College of Engineering, urged students to set clear goals and pursue them with dedication. "Nepal possesses excellent infrastructure and skilled human resources for technical education. With the right guidance, students can build a successful future right here," he emphasized.
  • Ichhya Malla, Founder of People First, highlighted the long-term vision of bringing international curricula to Nepal. "By providing world-class education within the country, we not only reduce the financial burden on families but also contribute directly to the nation's socio-economic development by producing globally competitive professionals."

The interactive session also actively engaged students in grades 8-12, helping them plan their academic trajectories early. Students said the fair was instrumental in helping them clarify their subject choices and future plans through direct interaction with college representatives.

The 3rd National College Fair stands as a testament to Premier School's commitment to guiding young minds toward a prosperous future. The institution has announced its commitment to continue this annual initiative, reinforcing the message that world-class education and a successful career are not just possibilities, but realities in Nepal.
