KIST College took proactive steps to protect its students by organizing a comprehensive "Drugs Awareness Program" for its Grade XI Science students on August 15, 2025. The event took place at the KIST Seminar Hall, in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau of Koteshwor and the Community Police Service of Naxal.
The primary goal of the program was to educate students about the serious risks associated with drug abuse and to emphasize the importance of maintaining discipline and focus in their academic pursuits. Representatives from the Nepal Police provided crucial information and valuable insights regarding the dangers of narcotics.
The interactive session allowed students to understand the harmful effects of drug addiction on an individual's health, education, and future.
