Kathmandu Multiple College has secured the first prize worth Rs 10000 along with a trophy at the AMR Heroes Talent Competition organized by OUCRU Nepal on 21 November 2025. The event was held at Siddhartha Foodland, Battisputali, as part of the World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week 2025.

The competition was designed to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance and encourage youth participation in creative advocacy. A total of six colleges participated, presenting nine diverse performances that highlighted the theme Act Now Protect Our Present Secure Our Future.

The winning team from Kathmandu Multiple College included Nischal Bhattarai, Rita Rimal, Krishala Poudel, and Neha Giri. Their performance stood out for strong presentation, creativity, and clear communication on the importance of responsible antibiotic use.

The event aimed to inspire proactive community action and identify young advocates working toward AMR awareness. OUCRU Nepal has been conducting public engagement programs on antimicrobial resistance since 2016.
