The program commenced at approximately 1:15 PM with the Campus Director of Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus, Mr. Raunak Mishra, honoring the guest speakers with traditional khadas in recognition of their participation. The session maintained strong engagement throughout its nearly two-hour duration, concluding at approximately 3:15 PM.

Suhana Budathoki opened the session with a comprehensive presentation on problem identification in entrepreneurship. Her talk drew extensively on real-world examples from established brands to illustrate key concepts, making the content both accessible and practical for the student audience.
The presentation covered several fundamental topics, including opportunity costs in business decision-making, the critical balance between sustainability and scalability in social enterprises, and the core components that distinguish successful businesses and startups. Budathoki also addressed the philosophical and practical differences between businessmen and entrepreneurs, helping students understand different approaches to creating value and driving innovation.

Sushmina Baidya led the second portion of the event, which was an interactive workshop with hands-on activities. This segment shifted the focus from theory to application, providing participants with structured methodologies for identifying problems and developing solutions that generate meaningful social impact.
The workshop emphasized three practical frameworks that participants could immediately apply to their own projects. These included design thinking as a human-centered approach to innovation, problem tree analysis to identify root causes rather than symptoms, and empathy mapping better to understand the needs and perspectives of target communities. The interactive format encouraged collaborative learning and critical thinking about real-world challenges.

The event concluded with a closing ceremony during which both speakers received tokens of appreciation, including indoor plants from The Plantroom. These gifts symbolized growth and sustainability, themes that aligned closely with the day's focus on social entrepreneurship and lasting impact.
The success of this inaugural session has established a solid foundation for the continuing Talk Series at IOE, Pulchowk Campus. The strong student engagement and positive response indicate that the program effectively addresses the growing interest in social entrepreneurship within the academic community.
