Hult Prize at Khwopa College of Engineering Conducts Notion Workshop for Organizing Committee 2025/26

Hult Prize 2025/26 at Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) successfully conducted a hands-on Notion Workshop for its organizing committee members, equipping the team with essential digital collaboration tools to streamline their operations. The workshop was expertly facilitated by campus expert Ms. Sweta Suwal, a fourth-year Computer Engineering student at KhCE and Notion College Coordinator, who transformed the committee's approach to teamwork and communication.

Drawing from her two years of experience as a Hult Prize organizing committee member, Ms. Suwal recognized firsthand the critical importance of having proper communication channels for effective coordination. Her journey through previous competition seasons revealed how scattered information and fragmented communication could hinder team efficiency, leading her to champion Notion as her go-to platform for organizational excellence.

The workshop began with foundational concepts, introducing the committee members to Notion's interface and capabilities as an all-in-one workspace. Ms. Suwal's peer-to-peer teaching approach created a comfortable learning environment where participants explored basic navigation before progressing to advanced applications. The hands-on session guided committee members through creating a dedicated teamspace specifically designed for Hult Prize operations, complete with organized sections for events, marketing, partnerships, and logistics.

The committee members actively engaged in setting up pages, establishing databases for tracking tasks and deadlines, and learning collaboration features that enable simultaneous work on shared documents. Ms. Suwal emphasized best practices for maintaining organized workspaces and for creating systems to share updates and coordinate event logistics. By the session's conclusion, the committee had established a prototype of a functional digital workspace with communication channels.

The workshop successfully enhanced the organizing committee's coordination capabilities by providing a centralized platform that ensures seamless information sharing and greater efficiency. Ms. Suwal's expertise and understanding of student organizational challenges proved instrumental in making the technology accessible and immediately applicable.
