KMC Bagbazar and Euro School Chhauni, two of Nepal’s most respected names in education, have come together to create a school that brings together what families have long sought but rarely found in one place: uncompromising academic excellence alongside a genuinely progressive, child-centred learning experience.
That vision takes shape in Gyanshree School Baneshwor, which officially opens its doors on 21st March 2026 (Saturday) at Lakhe Chaur Marg, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The Grand Opening Ceremony commenced at 11:30 AM and hosted a large number of students, parents, and well-wishers.
KMC Bagbazar contributes a distinguished legacy of academic rigour and consistently outstanding results, while Euro School brings a decade of internationally aligned pedagogy and innovation-driven learning. Together, they have established a Cambridge-affiliated institution designed for families who refuse to choose between excellence and experience.
Mr. Rameshwor Aryal (Chairman) remarked, “Gyanshree represents our vision to bring together academic excellence and a truly child-centred learning experience in one institution.”

Where Academic Excellence Meets Progressive Learning Gyanshree follows Nepal’s National Curriculum, enriched with Cambridge International Pedagogy, and is powered by the proprietary Innoverse Learning Framework—developed through over 1,000 hours of research by educators, curriculum experts, and instructional designers.
Here, modern methodologies such as inquiry-based learning, Socratic dialogue, project-based exploration, and collaborative learning are not alternatives to academic success—they are the foundation of it.
From Grade I, students engage in a structured Critical Thinking Programme co-developed with global education experts. In the early years, the play-based system ensures that children develop essential life skills from the very beginning. Admissions are now open from Nursery to Grade 7.

Gyanshree is led by a distinguished team of education leaders: Rameshwor Aryal (Chairman KMC Educational Network), Manoj Parajuli (Managing Director Euro School Chhauni), Dr. Durga Jang K.C. (Director KMC Educational Network), Surendra Subedi (Chairman MIT), Vani Rana (Academic Director), Sadichha Shrestha (Director), and Anish Dhakal (Principal/Director).
