The first semester students of the BIT program at Texas College of Management and IT successfully conducted an aeronautical (aircraft) trial flight on Shrawan 17, 2082, at Jarsingh Pauwa.

The event was inaugurated under the chief guestship of Mr. Ramesh Napit, Mayor of Shankharapur Municipality, and Mrs. Samita Shrestha, Deputy Mayor. On the occasion, the Managing Director of Texas College also delivered a message of best wishes.

Prior to the trial, students had undergone 30 hours of theoretical training and an additional 30 hours of practical sessions in the laboratory. During this 60-hour training period, the students also completed the development of 15 IoT and robotics-related projects. These projects will be showcased in an exhibition scheduled for Shrawan 23 at the Texas College premises.

The aircraft tested today was equipped with a single engine and all the necessary instruments required for flight. The college administration has announced plans to re-demonstrate all the flights during the upcoming exhibition on Shrawan 23.

A total of two aircraft were successfully tested today, marking a significant achievement made possible by the students’ dedication and creativity.
