The Examination Controller's Office of Tribhuvan University (TU) has announced that it will start providing 10 additional services online starting from Asar 15, 2082. In a press release, Examination Controller Pushpa Raj Joshi stated that the move aims to improve service delivery through digital transformation.
From Asar 15 onwards, the following services will be available online:
- TU registration form
- Exam application form
- Transcript application
- Provisional certificate
- Original certificate
- Re-totaling application
- Correction of name/surname/registration details in academic documents
- Various recommendation letters
- Document verification
- A copy of transcripts and mark sheets
Each year, the Office serves over 500,000 students with services such as mark sheets, transcripts, original certificates, registration, and migration. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources, technical manpower, and administrative hurdles, the office has gradually moved toward digitizing its operations.
According to Controller Joshi, the office has now successfully ensured that key services, including registration forms, exam applications, and transcript requests, are available online.
Previously, since 2075 B.S., the Office had begun offering online services for the convocation form and transcript services for BA/B.Ed programs using the TUIES system. Building on that, online application services were briefly introduced on Magh 15, 2079, but were suspended due to technical issues.
However, from Baisakh 2, 2082, the office resumed pilot testing of the transcript application process and online payment system through its official website. With that groundwork complete, students will now be able to access all these services online from Asar 15, 2082.
