All schools and colleges in the Janakpurdham city area have been closed indefinitely. PABSON Janakpurdham and National PABSON Janakpurdham, the umbrella organization of private schools, jointly issued a statement on Wednesday, stating that classes have been suspended until further notice, keeping in mind the situation and security sensitivity arising from the 'Gen-Z' movement.
The statement said, "We express our condolences to the students who were martyred during the movement and our deep condolences to the bereaved families. Considering the current insecure situation, we would like to inform you that classes have been suspended in schools and campuses until further notice."
The statement, jointly signed by National PABSON President Deepak Kumar Thakur and PABSON President Rabindra Kumar Chaudhary, stated that the decision had to be taken as students and parents were in fear due to the unsafe environment on the streets. Similarly, it is stated that classes will resume soon if the situation normalizes.
