Purbanchal University has announced a two-day international conference scheduled to take place at its central office in Gothgaun, Morang. According to a press briefing held today, the event will run from Magh 29 to Falgun 1, 2082.
The conference, titled 'Visioning the Future of the Himalayas: A Path to Sustainability and Development', is expected to be attended by more than 300 scholars, policymakers, researchers, and students from 12 countries, including Nepal, India, Norway, Ukraine, Thailand, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the United States.
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the university, Prof. Dr. Bhola Nath Sharma Ghimire, 150 participants are scheduled to present their research papers. He said that there will be discussions on the topics presented.
