The 11th Registration Examination for Engineers under the Ordinary Registered Engineering System was conducted in accordance with the Nepal Engineering Council Act 2055 (First Amendment 2079).
The examination was held in two locations:
Pulchowk, Lalitpur (ICTC, Institute of Engineering):
Dates: 2082/09/23 to 2082/09/26
Shifts: 12Pokhara, Lamachaur (Western Region Campus, Institute of Engineering):
Dates: 2082/09/29 to 2082/10/01
Shifts: 9
Out of a total of 4,270 applicants, 4,103 candidates appeared in the examination. The results were published on the same day of the examination, as per the examination procedure for the Ordinary Registered Engineering System. A total of 2,276 candidates have passed the examination.
Based on the recommendation of the Examination Committee, meetings held on 2082/09/26 and 2082/10/01 decided to register the successful candidates as Ordinary Registered Engineers. With this decision, the Council’s total registered engineer count has reached 97,714.
In accordance with Section 15 of the Nepal Engineering Council Act 2055, certificates for the 2,276 newly registered Ordinary Registered Engineers will be distributed starting in the second week of Magh.
