The Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) has announced the opening of applications for the 12th Engineering Registration Examination for engineers aspiring to attain the status of the General Registered Engineer, in accordance with the Nepal Engineering Council Act, 2055, as amended in 2079.
The examination is scheduled to begin on Chaitra 23, 2082. Exam centers will be set up in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

- Application Submission Deadline with Normal Fee: Falgun 25, 2082 ( March 9, 2026)
- Application Submission Deadline with Double Fee: Chaitra 12, 2082 (March 26, 2026)
- Registration Fee: Rs. 2,500
- Examination Starts from : Chaitra 23, 2082 (March 6, 2026)
