The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) has established a dedicated Grievance and Student Assistance Desk to fix delays and technical issues in the No Objection Certificate (NOC) process.
The new desk, operating under the Foreign Study Permission Section, is designed to provide immediate support for students navigating the online NOC application process. According to a notice issued today, the initiative aims to ensure that the transition to international education is as seamless as possible for both prospective applicants and students currently studying abroad.
While the Ministry has successfully transitioned the NOC application process to a 100% online portal, students have occasionally reported technical hurdles or delays. To ensure smooth service delivery and to address grievances or issues faced by students who are planning to go abroad for higher studies, or those currently studying abroad who have obtained an NOC, the assistance desk has been established.
To ensure transparency and accessibility, the Ministry has released direct contact information for the desk. Students and parents can now reach out via: Phone: 01-6635419 or Email: noc@moest.gov.np
