Kathmandu University, School of Science (KUSOS) has introduced a new Master of Science in Agriculture (Horticulture) program under its School of Science, expanding its postgraduate offerings in agricultural education and research.
The newly launched MSc in Agriculture (Horticulture) will be offered by the Department of Agriculture and is designed to develop advanced human resources in horticulture through specialized, research-oriented training. The program is designed for graduates with an academic background in agriculture and related fields.
KUSOS stated that the program will follow a structured postgraduate curriculum emphasizing scientific knowledge, practical experience, and research competence in horticultural sciences. The introduction of this program reflects the university’s focus on addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in Nepal’s agriculture sector.
The university has announced that the program will be offered from the 2026 academic year and has opened admissions for the session.
