The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that it will conduct the Grade Increment Examination (Supplementary Examination) for Grade 12 on Ashoj 7 and Ashoj 8. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for 28th to 29th Bhadra, 2082, but could not be held due to Gen Z protest. 

The supplementary examination program has been planned as follows to allow only those regular examinees of the Grade 12 annual examination held in Baishakh 2082, whose registration number starts with the number '81', to participate in the examination. 

Students who participated in the examination and obtained a minimum grade of 'D' or above in other subjects in the theoretical part and 'NG' (Not Graded) in the remaining two subjects, or obtained a minimum grade of 'D' or above in other subjects in the theoretical part and were absent in a maximum of two subjects, or obtained a minimum grade of 'D' or above in other subjects in the theoretical part and obtained 'NG' (Not Graded) in one subject or were absent in one subject, can participate in the examination.

  • For examinees appearing for two subjects, the subject with the larger code number among the subjects they are appearing for (the examination for Compulsory English (0041) will not be held on this day)
  • Exam Time: 11 AM to 2 PM

Note: 

  • Examinees taking a single subject must appear for the exam on the first day of the examination (2082/06/07 B.S.), regardless of the subject.
  • Examinees taking Compulsory English (0041) will also take their exam only on the first day.
  • For examinees taking two subjects, they must take the exam for the subject with the lower code number on the first day. However, for examinees taking both subjects (Compulsory Nepali (0021) and Compulsory English (0041),  they must take the exam for subject 0041 on the first day.
  • There will be no further arrangements for examinees who are absent from the examination as per the specified schedule.
  • The examination will not be postponed without prior notice from the Examination Controller's Office, even in the event of an unexpected holiday.
  • Examinees must bring their own required materials, such as graph paper, charts, log tables, vouchers, etc.
  • The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, and other electronic devices is prohibited in the examination hall.
  • If there is no prior notice, the examination will be postponed.
  • Examinees must arrive at the examination center and enter the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the start of the examination.
  • Examinees must appear for the exam at the previously designated examination center. Detailed information about the centers is available on the board's website.
  • The examination must be taken only from the designated examination center. Center changes are not allowed.
  • The concerned offices of the board are requested to act accordingly as per this notice.

The results of the Grade 12 examination were published today. According to the board, this year's Grade 12 results have improved by 9 percent compared to last year. He said the improvement in the results is due to the hard work of students and the seriousness of parents.
