The National Examination Board (NEB) has officially released the new Grade 12 exam schedule for (Regular and Partial) in the General, Technical, and Traditional streams, whose registration numbers begin with 79, 80, 81, and 82. The exam will commence on Baishakh 14, 2083, and end on Baishakh 27, 2083.

Key Guidelines for Grade 12 Examinations 

  • Candidates must arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Those arriving after a fifteen-minute grace period will not be permitted to sit for the examination.

  • Absent candidates will not receive any special arrangements if they miss the examination as per the scheduled time.

  • Unless the examination control office provides prior notice, emergencies will not result in postponing the examination.

  • Candidates must bring the necessary materials, such as graph paper, charts, vouchers, cash books, and log tables, for the examination.

  • Biology candidates must use the same answer sheet for both Botany and Zoology, as per the updated syllabus.

  • Changing the examination center is not permitted.

  • Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, or other electronic devices into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.

  • If a student has exams in more than one subject on the same day, the fact must be reported to the state/branch office of the board or the examination control office within fifteen days of the publication of the notice.

  • Examinees (foreign citizens) studying 'Opt.English' subject instead of Compulsory Nepali must take the examination for 'Opt.English' (Subject Code: 3341) on the same date as the Compulsory Nepali examination, i.e., on 2083/01/15.
