The Senate meeting of Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University has appointed Dr. Khem Raj Joshi as the Registrar of the university. Under the chairmanship of Education Minister Mahavir Pun, the decision was made during a Senate meeting held at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The same meeting also approved the appointment of the university’s Vice-Chancellor.
Dr. Khem Raj Joshi, PhD, currently serves as an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Natural Products Chemistry. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has extensive academic and research experience in the field.
His research interests include chromatography, spectrometry, and extraction techniques, with a particular focus on their application in pharmaceutical and natural products research. Dr. Joshi has also served as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Pokhara University from November 20, 2015, to November 19, 2019, where he contributed to academic development and institutional growth.
