Organizations representing private schools, including PABSON, N-PABSON, National PABSON, and HISSAN, have demanded that the provision in the School Education Bill requiring private schools to be gradually transformed into non-profit institutions be removed.

The demand was made public during a joint press conference held on Shrawan 25, 2082.
