CTEVT Issues Notice on Program Transfer to Arunima College of Technical Sciences

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), through its Accreditation and Equivalence Directorate, has issued a 35-day public notice regarding the proposed transfer and change of ownership (program merger) of several diploma-level programs.

According to the notice, the diploma-level programs in Pharmacy, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Agriculture, currently affiliated with and accredited to Bharatpur Central Hospital, Bharatpur–10, Chitwan, are proposed to be transferred to Arunima College of Technical Sciences, Bharatpur–10, Chitwan.

CTEVT stated that the application submitted for the transfer/ownership change has proceeded in line with decisions made by the Council, including those of the 201st meeting held on 2082/03/17 and subsequent meetings of the Standing Committee. As per the prevailing procedures, the Council has decided to move forward with the program transfer process.

The notice invites any objections, complaints, or claims related to the concerned institution or the approved programs to be submitted in writing with supporting evidence within 35 days from the date of the final publication of the notice in a national daily newspaper. CTEVT clarified that if no objections are received within the stipulated period, the program transfer/ownership change process will proceed, and no claims or objections submitted afterwards will be entertained.
