The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has published a notice for all concerned that students whose registration is valid with CTEVT in various academic programs at the Diploma and Certificate levels in CTEVT's constituent, partnership, community schools, or private educational institutions, but who have been unable to study for various reasons, and now wish to resume their studies. Such students must submit their application with clear and valid reasons and fulfill the following conditions. They must mandatorily attach the specified documents to the Examination Control Office by Kartik 26, 2082, Wednesday, within office hours according to the decision made by the council on Ashoj 27, 2082. 

Conditions for Continuation of Studies (Study Resumption):

  • A registered student of the Council who was unable to study for a special reason may apply for approval to resume the same program within the time limit specified by the curriculum, provided the reason is clearly stated. Recommendation will not be given if the Council has already implemented a new curriculum.
  • Since students who have failed in annual or semester examinations of an academic year will be given a chance to re-appear in the examination for up to three years from the date of the final examination, approval for study resumption will only be granted upon submitting an undertaking to complete all examinations within the stipulated time limit.
  • A photocopy of the valid registration card must be submitted.
  • The application is subject to the availability of the school's study quota (scholarship or full fee).
  • Students can only submit their application for study resumption to the same school where their studies were discontinued.
  • The school where the student wishes to resume studies must submit the original Internal Assessment Sheet for the student's previous year/semester's final examination, certified by the school, showing that the quota is vacant.
  • Schools shall recommend the continuation of studies only to the extent of the number of vacant quotas in their school.
  • The Consent Letter for the continuation of studies must be obtained from the Registration Section of the Examination Control Office. If a school allows a student to study without this consent letter, that student will not be allowed to appear in the final examination, and the concerned educational institution will be held responsible.
  • Consent for the continuation of studies will not be given to students who have failed the internal assessment examination.

Note: No action will be taken on applications that do not include the required documents or are received after the deadline.
