Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology Studies (IOST), Dean's Office Examination Section, Balkhu has published the results of the entrance examination for the four-year Bachelor's in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT), conducted on Kartik 22, 2082.
TU conducted the entrance examination using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology for the first time on the examination day. Out of a total of 7,680 candidates across the country, only 3,105 seats are available for study quotas.
A total of 18 examination centres were established, including 6 within the Kathmandu valley and 12 outside the valley. The exam was conducted under the Semester Examination System using the Grading System in constituent campuses and affiliated colleges. The result has been published on Kartik 23, 2082.
- The list of successful candidates can be downloaded and viewed from the office's website: www.iost.tu.edu.np.
- Candidates who have passed the entrance examination can also download their individual Score-Sheets.
- Furthermore, successful students are notified that they can fill out the Campus/College Priority Form (to indicate their preferred campus/college) starting from Kartik 24, 2082 to Kartik 29, 2082. (November 10 to November 15, 2025).

Earlier, the result was expected to be published on the examination day on November 8, 2025. The Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Shankar Prasad Khanal, had informed that the results of the entrance examination, which was conducted using OMR technology, will be published on the same day of the examination. Prof. Dr. Khanal further stated that the use of OMR technology will reduce the cost of the examination system, minimise errors and weaknesses, and save time.
