Sundarharaicha

Sundarharaicha Municipality is one of the 17 municipalities in Morang District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 120,213, comprising 57,018 males (47.4%) and 63,195 females (52.6%), with a literacy rate of 82.88%. Spanning 110.16 square kilometers, Sundarharaicha Municipality exhibits the population density of 1,091 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 12 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Sundarharaicha has 83 schools. Of these, 45 are private and 36 are public. The breakdown includes 66 pre-schools, 82 basic schools, and 38 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 16 offer +2 programs.
