Rolpa Municipality is one of the 10 municipalities in Rolpa District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 35,376, comprising 16,158 males (45.7%) and 19,218 females (54.3%), with a literacy rate of 79.03%. Spanning 270.42 square kilometers, Rolpa Municipality exhibits the population density of 131 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Rolpa has 78 schools. Of these, 5 are private and 73 are public.
