As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 23,119, comprising 10,560 males (45.7%) and 12,559 females (54.3%), with a literacy rate of 71.96%. Spanning 244.37 square kilometers, Nisikhola Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 95 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
